The Ranch is located in a desert valley, so the days can be hot and the evenings/mornings cold. Temperatures get into the mid 90s on hot days, while nights and mornings can be in the 40s/50s. Layers work best when it is chilly. Depending on rainfall, it can be very dusty and dirty, especially if you are out playing on four wheelers.

Winter

Layers are key. The temperature in winter time can be below zero or in the 40s. Having layers allows you to add or remove clothes depending on what you’re doing and how you feel. Layers also prevent the icy wind from getting down to your skin.
